The Alameda County Transportation Authority and the Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority are implementing two voter approved half-cent transportation sales tax measures. The mission of both agencies is to deliver projects and programs as promised to voters in the two approved Expenditure Plans. ACTA and ACTIA continually provide the taxpayers of Alameda County with quality project, program and administrative services.

South County Transportation Forum
On July 23, ACTIA and the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) will host a South County Transportation Forum at the Ruggieri Senior Center in Union City. The Forum hosts project sponsors from key local, regional, and national efforts to make tailored presentations related to Measure B project benefits and impacts in South County. Businesses are encouraged to attend to hear about upcoming opportunities from all agencies invited. The Open House will also feature a Certification Specialist for those needed to become certified with ACTIA.

Transportation Forum in the East County
On April 16, 2009, ACTIA and the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) hosted an East County Transportation Forum at Dublin City Hall. The Forum, themed Transportation Systems, invited project sponsors from several local, regional, and national efforts to make tailored presentations related to project benefits and impacts in East County. Notice of Availability of Final Environmental Impact Report for the East-West Connector Project
The Alameda County Transportation Authority (ACTA) has prepared the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for the East-West Connector Project to evaluate the potential environmental impacts of implementing the project. Click here to download the Final EIR

Get Moving: The Alameda County Active Transportation Legislative Effort
Join ACTIA and our many partners in supporting increased funding for walking, biking and transit access to Alameda County by having your organization or agency adopt a resolution or sign an endorsement letter.
