BART Extension - Dublin, Pleasanton

Under the sponsorship of the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), ACTA helped fund the $525 million Dublin-Pleasanton extension, which opened for service in May 1997. During the first opening month, 3,500 riders used the station each day. During 2000, an average of approximately 7,000 riders used the station each day, about a 50% increase in two years. This extension provides an important transit connection to Eastern Alameda County.
